TwelveP Animation has collaborated with ToDA (Theatre of Digital Art Dubai) to premiere an immersive edutainment show Monsikids: Exploring Emotions 360°, which is available to visit from May 5th, 2023.
An immersive projection creates an emo-tastic experience for family viewing. With the Monsikids characters, the audience will enjoy exciting stories and learn to navigate the complex world of emotions and explore strategies to cope with them.
Monsikids is a 360-degree digital show for children aged 4 to 7, that strives to improve emotional intelligence and educate them that emotions are allies, not enemies. Created in a way for little ones to understand while still being able to enjoy and learn – not even realizing they are going through an educative experience.
The plotline revolves around Monsikids, who live on Harmony Island in the World of Joy. When Monsikids, like humans, have difficulty controlling their emotions, they are transferred to nearby islands – the Volcano of Anger, the Marsh of Envy, and many others. The Monsikids must confront their feelings to overcome the hurdles and return home. This story is told on a large digital platform, surrounded by 360-degree screens.
“The show combines new technologies with timeless messages. Monsikids: Exploring Emotions 360° project can help modern children to develop their emotional intelligence entertainingly. In recent years, many studies have shown that this particular skill is one of the most important for the kids’ social adaptation and their subsequent success in education and career”, – says Katerina Pshenitsyna; Managing Partner at TwelveP Animation.
Furthermore, Monsikids was created with the help of child psychologists and development specialists, based on the most effective teaching approaches. “Emotional Intelligence is essential. So we are excited to be the place where kids can progress most enjoyably and engagingly imaginable” says Daria Prodaevich; Managing Director of TODA.
ToDA is the only digital theater in the UAE, a huge art space with an area of 1.8 square kilometers with a high–resolution panoramic projection, which opens up a wide range of opportunities for playing with the cartoon universe of Monsikids.
